Izakaya Yuki

Yuki is a great dining experience, I really enjoyed my meal. The Takoyaki was amazing, on a cold night I really enjoyed having my warm sake with my meal.

The only Japanese izakaya in Dunedin, it offers a typical authentic Japanese izakaya or tapas cuisine. The place has a very Japanese ambience, reminds me of my time visiting an izakaya in Nagoya. The staff are very welcoming and friendly and the food are very delicious for an izakaya cuisine. Not only that this place is located in the centre of Dunedin but it's also popular with locals. Make sure you make a booking so you won't be disappointed. It's definitely a recommended place to spend an evening with few friends... chatting while sipping a cup of sake and nibbling a selection of delicious Japanese tapas.

Best Japanese food in the land. My introduction to soft shell crabs and warm sake. Memorable. A lot of people, full crowd so be prepared but not too noisy. Everything brought to our table was 5/5.

You must visit this place! It is so delicious and has a lovely interior. My partner and I shared a meal for two with a set menu. We both agreed each item was the best version of that thing we had ever had. This little restaurant may not look like much from the outside but inside is the best Japanese cuisine I have ever had.

Brilliant food and wonderful service. Always recommend Yuki to anyone passing through my hometown. Authentic and cooked wonderfully. We got the group menu for 200 and 5 of us were so full and this included drinks as well.

My wife and I ate here two nights running . Very good. Busy wee place . Food excellent . The no name sake is good . Highly recommend
